- JOB SUMMARY
- The Import & Foreign Trade Analyst is to manage the import processes from China to Brazil. The professional will be responsible for coordinating logistics, customs, and tax compliance, ensuring efficiency and alignment with international trade regulations.
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end import processes from China to Brazil.
- Understanding Incoterms, modes of transport, insurance, currency exchange, and the complete import process (from shipment to customs clearance).
- Monitor customs, tax, and fiscal procedures.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and international suppliers.
- ç Prepare and analyze import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with current trade regulations (Brazilian Customs, Siscomex, Radar, etc.).
- Control deadlines and costs related to international operations.
- Support the procurement and supply chain team in international negotiations
- PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Import Process Management: On-time delivery, reduced lead times, error-free shipments.
- Compliance & Documentation: High accuracy, zero penalties, up-to-date with trade regulations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Strong communication, quick issue resolution, positive partner feedback.
- . Cost & Deadline Control: Stay within budget, meet deadlines, minimize variances.
- Procurement Support: Achieve cost savings, favorable terms, improved supply chain performance.
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Any other tasks or requirements deemed necessary by the direct supervisor or top management.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in International Trade, International Relations, - Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
- Proven experience in import processes, preferably ChinaBrazil operations.
- Proficiency in customs regulations, taxes (Import Tax, IPI, PIS/COFINS), NCM/tax classification, and licensing (LPCO, DUI).
- Advanced/Fluent English (mandatory for communication with international suppliers).
- Familiarity with international trade systems and tools (Siscomex, Radar, etc.).
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
